Advantages: Ideal location near the beach and lots of things to do for all the family.

Disadvantages: The annoyig mosquitos.

I visited here in June and was here for a week but could have stayed for longer.I stayed in the Hotel Pollensa and must say the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.The beach is just
across the other side of the road and you are there so that was another great advantage.

The Hotel Uyall which was next to my hotel and they had a swimming pool that I was able to use as this was part of the chain of hotels for Hotel Pollensa.The Euro 2008 tournament was on so
I sometimes watched this and every other night there was entertainment at Hotel Pollensa or The Uyall.

I would have to say I enjoyed the Flamenco Dancers and there was some other average acts but my favorite act was most definitely The Blue Brothers Tribute Band as they were brilliant
and very entertaining and was for me one of the highlights of my holiday.

When you venture either right or left there are plenty of shops and places to eat and have a drink and relax.When I caught a bus
left it took about 15 minutes until I got to a market and it was very busy but had lots of stalls and different things for you to purchase.

I know I only went for a week but I urge you to go for two weeks at least as you will be pleased you did this as this has been one of the best holidays I have had.

The beach was good although I did not go on there that often it seemed to be busy most days and it was sandy as you would expect and both young and old could go there without risk of overcrowding.There were some Jetskis and some boats that you could go in and the mini boats it looked like there was a special club that you joined and then you could do some rowing which looked fun.

You can go to one of the nearer resorts Alcudia for a different approach on things and they have different sites for you to look at and see and there is a market there on various days and also various bus rides you can take to visit different parts of the resort although some of it is quite high up so if you are brave enough you can do this.

A nice place in my opinion.

Summary: This is a great place to visit if you just want to chill out relaz and unwind.
