Great for families/ older couples (Puerto Pollensa)

I have been here twice, both times on a family holiday. My family has since visted here 3 more times.

It is beautiful place.

It takes about an hour to get there from Palma airport depending wether you have to wait for others to be dropped off first etc.

The marina is absolutly stunning, from small fishing boats to very very expensive ships which are great fun to look at.

Puerto Pollensa is probably one of the safest areas on the island, I was very comfortable walking back to the hotel on my own.

It is a family orientated place, don't expect to find loads of drunken teens, I believe there is one night club in the town.

A nice square is the centre of the town with a gorgeous church and school while restaurents surround it. These are probably the most expensive though.

The beach is clean and has nice shallow water for the little ones.

I have never encountered a rude person and the locals are very friendly and waiters eager to earn their tips by having a little bit of banter if it is appropirate. I wouldn't hesitate to book a holiday here when i'm married with children.


EDIT: My apoligies when I first wrote this review I wa under the impression people reading it would know where it was and were generally reasearching the place. I was a newbie and was just starting out on Dooyoo. So to add for those who asked its in north east Majorca. A beautiful place.
