Punta ArenasNewest Review: ... it for fear of being attacked by his arrow! There is a nice theatre there, although I am led to believe that performances are rare. This town is never short of a party for people of all ages! Although only go if you can handle leaving to go out at 1.30am and returning at 6am. We brits were falling asleep in the bars! I have literally JUST come back from a three and a half week tour of Chile, and I must say that Punta Arenas was the highlight! Home of the penguins, this snowy area is the only place in the world I am sure where you can buy postcards of Antartica! Families have maids, and they eat nothing but cake!- everybody not just the maids! There are a lot of British families there, and also a british school (called The British School- how original!) Not the greatest place to go if you are into shopping, or nice beaches! I popped down to the beach on an afternoon off and was greeted by more litter than your local dump!
