ReimsNewest Review: ... Avenue de Laon) there were nice hotels charging about £13 a night. The centre of Reims is dominated by 'Notre Dame' cathedral. It is a gothic style building. I'm no cathedral expert myself but I did think it looked more impressive than the Paris one! =) If you like museums there are quite a few - Palais de Tau is all about the cathedral and kings who were crowned there. Situated in the northern France, it is the heart of the Champagne industry. There are bubbly factories all over the city and along with the Cathedral they are the biggest tourist attractions. My poor little Fiat panda was about to embark on its first trip abroad. We set off bright & early on a Friday morning & braved the horrors of the M25 speeding our way towards France. Once on French soil our borrowed map of France became redundant Rheims was signposted from Calais on a motorway ( ... Read the complete review
