Advantages: great holiday, very hot, lots to do

Disadvantages: NONE!!!

Rhodes is the biggest greek island and is situated right next to Turkey.I have been to many of the greek islands and Rhodes is one of the best.

Being situated right next to Turkey it is more Turkish than Greek but still a fabulous place to go.I stayed in Pefkos which is a 45 minute drive from the airport. It is a lovely place to stay with lots to do, the hotel that i stayed in was called Pefki Island Resort and believe me it was the best hotel i've ever stayed in. It has two swimming pools both with snack bars and lots of sunbeds, one pool is where most of the older generations stays and the other is full of young kids, all the staff are very friendly.

In Pefkos there is loads of great resturaunts and has a couple of bars and clubs for all you teenagers.A couple of minutes away from Pefkos is the lovely Lindos where there is loads of resturaunts and millions of greek shops for all you shopaholics.

There is lots to do in Rhodes like there is a great water park withina 1 hour drive and lots more for all ages.

Proably the best place to visit is Rhodes town where there is shops, snack bars and a castle to look around so i would reccommend you to go there.

The wheather is so hot it reached over 40 degrees when i stayed there.

The holiday is not very expensive but deffinatly worth the money so if you feel like a great holiday then go to Rhodes!!!!

Good op, but a couple of points I'd like to mention. Crete is about 3 times the size of Rhodes. OK, I'm a pedant. Also, I found your op a bit difficult to read because of the typing errors. If you used Word or similar to write them, then copied and pasted them to dooyoo, you'd be able to use the spellchecker and avoid those little niggles. It'd also save you from having to be online to write. Sorry if that all sounds a bit demanding, it's just a thought. Cheers, Daisybelle.
