I have just returned from my third hiolday in Rhodes. The first time I went I did not know where I wes going to stay untill I arrived. The second two visits I planed to go back to the place I came to love. Pefcos or Pefki as the locals call it,is on the east coase about 5 kilometers southy of the populer destination of Lindos. Whereas Lindos is usualy over run with tourists in the daytime and revelers in the evening. Pefcos is more tranquil Life is more steady. It boasts one of the best beaches in Rhodes it has many taverners, supermarkets and tourist shops. The accomidation avalable is mainly self catering although there are a number of hotels.Car or motor bike hire is also avalabl.
I would recomend anyone goind to Rhodes to think about going to Pefcos. For a tranqual bace to explore a wonderful island overflowing with history, culture and most importantly hot, hot sun:
