Advantages: Good for families... clean resort

Disadvantages: Quiet Nightlife... not for those wanting a lively or clubbing holiday

The resort itself is very family orientated. The surrounding area has lots to do... Port Aventura theme park and then you can head off very easily to Barcelona. Getting public transport to Barcelona is very easy and wil set you back around £10 per person return.

Getting out here is pretty reasonable too, it seems to be one of the "cheaper" resorts in the hotel brochures.

The resort itself is very typical of a Spanish holiday resort, the usual endless souvenir shops, restaurants etc.

What is nice about the resort is its very clean, the streets, the prom and the beach. The prom itself is lovely to go for a walk along as there are lots of nice fountains.

The food in the resort was nothing special, or we weren't lucky enough to find any good restaurants. We found lots of steak houses, English pubs offering food... etc. But there were some smaller cafes that done really nice paella and you could get two large dishes for under £5!

Nightlife isn't that lively, there are a few bars however you will find that you go to the same ones every night. Its not a clubbing resort so don't come here if you are looking for that. An advantage is that is you do not get lots of PR people trying to pull you into pubs and you can walk along the main street at night without being harassed.

Summary: A value for money place to go, nice beach, friendly clean resort and good surrounding area
