San GimignanoNewest Review: ... say that the town doesn't capitalise on this. There are no signs saying "Judy Dench" ate here and such. A day in San Gimignano was not enough. We have talked about a short break there and have looked at flights to Florence or Pisa although we would have a much longer drive with the latter. The city is amazing - made up of little narrow winding streets surrounded by ancient medieval buildings. It is full of tourists but you can't blame them as it is such a lovely place. It's also a shopper's paradise with every third shop selling leather goods and the ... Read the complete review
