Description: The smallest republic in the world, an enclave in northern Italy

Newest Review: ... castle and walls are worth the walk because the views are spectacular. I was told in San Marino that one of her main exports is Crossbows. And true to form, there is a shooting range for long bows and crossbows in the grounds of a castle. Sometimes they do demonstrations or you can go and have a try yourself. It never particularly appealed to me, but the people there seemed to be enjoying ... more

No hill tribes populate the 61 sq. km. territory between the Italian regions of Emilia-Romagna and Marche-Montfelto. The language of the court is of course Italian, and you will not need a passport to travel there from Italy. San Marino is perhaps one of the few countries who will never get to play in the elite World Cup tournament, but the small republic gets ...  Read the complete review
