Advantages: Convenient, comfortable and inexpensive for its position

Disadvantages: not really a problem but no breakfast

Hotel Maestranzo, Seville, Spain.
Excellent new central hotel. Far superior to its 1 star classification.
Two minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Alcazar and 5 minutes walk from the shopping streets.
Air conditioning and all the usual facilities. No breakfast, but surrounded by bars and cafes.
Ten minutes walk from Plaza de Armes bus station, with regular bus service to nearby archaelogical site of the Roman city Italica.
Staff friendly. A couple speak excellent English. Price (9/ 2000) just under 10,000 pesetas per double room per night www.andalunet.com/maestranza
