Praslin is the second largest of the Seychelles inner islands, a beautiful sleepy place fringed with white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Eden is the nickname they give the Seychelles, if you happen to be flying there by the "renown" Air Seychelles... as they play you promo. videos showing shoals of fish, and pictures such as the one that accompanies this article. Idealism? Selectivity? Hardly. It is all like this. The whole island is pleasant, and although it has it's downtrodden areas, they are not as bad as the English equivalent, and for a developing country, that is pretty good. OK, the Seychelles' main and most fruitful industry is no longer fishing, but tourism... so everything is done to ensure that you see all the right things, and are treated well.
