South CarolinaNewest Review: ... uncle who picked us up in his huge truck, way bigger than anything in England, and drove us for miles to his small estate where they live. Now imagine what you see in American movie... That is exactly what it was like. Everything is literally miles and miles away from everything. The houses are all coloured slightly and made of wood and the dusty roads gave it that 'Of mice and Men' feel about it. The heat is exceptional and it is mind blowingly humid also. I really wanted to go New York or California, or another "fashionable" area of the States. Not only that but the College where I would be studying was not in either Charleston or Mertyl Beach, the two cities places I thought would have been bearable. And so off I travelled to small town Southern life with only images of films and US television programmes as to how the way of life would be out ... Read the complete review
