Stavanger is Norways 4th biggest city, but it's still a rather small place condsidering that the Norwegian population consist of 4.4 million people. Stavanger is to find at the coast, in southwest. Today it is a city living of oil, but traditionally it has been a fisher town and has great traditions when it comes to fishing. Stavanger can offer a range of historical places and also a lot of untouched nature. To start with history: the city's history goes all the way back to the Vikings.
