Disadvantages: Too quiet?

I spent a week in Stoupa in the Mani peninsula of the Pelopennese in Greece a year ago. It is one of the most laid back place in Greece I have been to. The beaches are sandy and not busy (except for some weekend Greek tourism). There is one town beach and another larger beach over a small headland.

Nightlife is low-key but I heartily recommend the tavernas and bars. During my time there I was invited to private parties and given several complimentary drinks! Definately Greek hospitality at its best.

A trip to nearby Agios Nikolaos (by foot or bus) is recommended to sample a typical fishing village largely untouched by tourism.
