SucreNewest Review: ... collection of dinosaur tracks can be reached by the 'dino truck' that leaves at 9.30am, 12.30 or 2.30pm from the cathedral. Whilst an unusual attraction I found it quite expensive and the tracks, unless you are an expert, look much like holes in the rock. Maybe this just failed to spark my imagination and dinosaur lovers would probably be more impressed but I would skip it. Sucre is around ... more |

Sucre is about as different from La Paz, Bolivia's governmental capital, as is possible and is proud to retain it's status as judicial capital of the country. The city was declared a UNESCO cultural heritage site in 1991 and is a small city of colonial white washed buildings and red terracota roofs and a relaxed feel in contrast to the chaos and hustle of other Bolivian cities. As such it is a great place to come and chill out for a few days and get away from the discomforts of travel through Bolivia.
