SuvaNewest Review: ... not forgetting the bar in the pool! It is the perfect destination for honeymooners. Suva is pretty much like a third world country where you would obviously hold your wallet close to you for security reasons.. don't be scared.. the people are quite tame! You can pick up some great wooden carvings and memorablia at the shops which you will also find to be quite cheap. When I was busy saying Bula to everyone, the song would always pop into my head, 'Oh Bula Bula'.. remember the one? I'm really surprised that there are no current opinions about Fiji. Fiji is the Pacific's little escape for the romantics and the honeymooners. Despite the current conflicts with the government, the place is absolutely beautiful. You are greeted by 'Bula', the Fijian way of saying hello. Although the men like Samoa have their duties to perform and manhood tasks to accomplish, (Samoan's is to get their thigh fully tattooed like Robbie Williams arm... except the old way.. yes ink and a nail to knock it in) ..if you think that's painful try walking over hot coals!
