Swat, the Switzerland of the east! The right combination of greenery and water. The lush green fields cool breeze and flowing cold water. The skyline is made up of high mountain peaks covered with crisp white snow. The ears are met with the sound of flowing water and singing birds. Swat is a great example of the true beauty present in Pakistan. Located in the north, Swat is surrounded by natural wonders such as lush mountain ranges and many beautiful rivers and also contains the rich blend of local culture. It has many market places or “bazaars” filled with precious gems, traditional clothing with intricate designs and small knickknacks for tourists to take home with them.
