Industries include the manufacturing of automobiles, electronics and electrical equipment, military weaponry, textiles, sugar, cement, and chemical products. It is also a leading center for the sale of carpets and furniture. There is an oil refinery nearby.

If you want to have a good time and a memorable holiday, learn a lot on the way too, about other cultures and abuot a country with 2500 years of history and civilization, then visit Persia, and you will be initially visiting Tehran, straight out of Mehrabad airport! And the first and perhaps most famous symbol you see, is the Azadi Square, which is Iran's alternative for big ben or the eifil tower.... There is far too muh to see, so don't just go for a few days and think that you have seen it all! I certainly accept the fact that the tourist industry in Iran is poor, but getting better, and it has been classified as one of the top ten tourist ...  Read the complete review

well, where can I possibly start? The great mountains up north, the scenary of the city that is unique, the winter skiing trips to the high mountains on the north of Tehran, or the loving summer sunshine that makes outdoor swimming possible in literally everyday of the summer.... A unique experience that there is no substitute for in europe or the US.... People are kind and hospitality is in their blood.
