Advantages: Something for everyone, great culture, big clubs, new port

Disadvantages: Dangerous Taxi drivers that talk too much...but is that not normal?

Having lived in Valencia for the past 7 years, not once have I been disappointed with what it has to offer. Cultural and bubbly, with great architecture as you can see from the picture, and friendly people, I recommend a weekend away here as there is never nothing to do.

The Hemisferic at the Museum of the Arts and the Sciences is one of the greatest attractions there, only about a 20 minute walk from the lovely port area of Valencia, which has recently been rennovated for the hosting of the famous Americas Cup.

For those of you who prefer a more livly holiday, the clubs in Valencia do not fall short. Home to "Pacha Valencia" and many other large dance clubs, a pair of shoes, a shirt, and some nice trousers and you can enjoy the finest in house music by some of the worlds best DJ's whilst sipping on a traditional Spanish mixer, like a Brugal and Cola, or a JB Whisky and Fanta Orange.

100% a place to go before you die, you will not want to miss it!
