Valencia is quite a large city on the north of the Costa Blanca coastline. It's famous for it's Valencian Paella, which is a typical Spanish dish and the Valencia-style one is made with chicken as opposed to sea food for example. Valencia has now hosted the F1 racing championships at the new circuit too. I visited Valencia last summer to go to the ... Read the complete review

Valencia is hands down one of the best cities I have visited in the world, I love it as much as Buenos Aires! The people are incredibly friendly, and it has plenty to offer for everyone. What's more, its so accessible. If arriving by plane you can hop straight on the Metro which will take you right into the centre of town in about 20 ... Read the complete review

The Hemisferic at the Museum of the Arts and the Sciences is one ... Read the complete review

As well as visiting the tourist sites in the city we also went to the shopping centre on the outskirts...where I spent a good couple of hours in C & A buying all the bargains. ... I can only agree with the prior submissions, however Valencia has a new addition/s that make this even more of a must visit place. The Ciutat de les Arts & Ciencies (Park of Arts & Sciences) is now more or less open. When fully complete the complex will include an Imax, Arts museum, Science museum, indoor and outdoor symphony halls and the ... Read the complete review

Most tour operators dont really include Valencia as a destination option because it isn't totally geared around the 14 day visitor culture. What I liked about it was the Spanish-ness of the people and a great lack of tourists. Personally when I go abroad I like to discover what it is like to really live there rather than meet up with ...
