Acer Aspire One A110-Ap ... bought this netbook after using an asus eeepc at work fairly extensively. I wanted a netbook which had linux on it, and this was the one I went for in the end. Physical Properties The netbook is nice and light, it is compact enough to fit into your handbag, but the keyboard is still reasonable (It is actually not much smaller than a standard keyboard, the keys down the sides , tab, return etc are noticeably narrower, and the other keys are a bit smaller, but not much). With the Asus machines I was finding I would have difficulty switching between that, my laptop and my desktop computers, however no such problem exists with this machine. Im getting the hang of things and have managed to download a few things myself from reading online forums and user guides. However, if it wasnt for the online guidance, I would be very stuck and wouldnt have a clue what I should have been doing. Maybe Acer should have provided a few details about using Linux perhaps. What I am most impressed with is the speed of this little thing. I would say that it can load a webpage as quick as any current laptop. Very impressed. Acer Aspire One D250-0Bk ... you are not too fussy about small keys and touchpad like me, because I am not a writer but I do write in the forums on the internet. I always use the netbook on my bed each night when I browse the internet with my wireless broadband service provider Soul in Australia. Screen brightness at lowest setting. Puzzle game Bejeweled Twist bought online at iWin for $10.00 was pretty powerful at medium resolution, high definition sound through my headphones was nice and clear, had to lower the music at option because it was louder than the sound effects.
