I have One myself and also know of a few people who have one. I have been very impressed with it. I actually uninstalled Linux operating system and have tried various Microsoft ones including the soon to be released Windows 7. It copes fine with running normal tasks like Word, Excel and an Internet browser. I have one running very comfortable on XP and can do various tasks at once without noticing too much of a slowdown in performance. The screen although only 8.9" is very clear and bright, and although some people with eyesight problems may struggle it is quite easy to adjust in the main. have something with windows that you want to do put cant you (more often) have to buy new software, with Linux you just go online find an open source forum ask a question and someone will reply and tell you how to do it.... for free. Cant say better than that.
