The first thing you will notice about this netbook is how sleek and thin it is. Although, it has an 11.6 inch screen it is thinner than most 10 inch netbooks that I have seen. Weight and size feel the same , it fits into to my Samsung NC10 case without a problem.
The battery life is good averaging what most good 10 inch netbooks manage despite having a larger screen. Obviously, this depends on how cell battery you have. My 6 cell battery gives me about 7 hours use.
The screen is great and the resolution on it makes watching videos and browsing the web much more enjoyable than on a standard 10 inch netbook. Intially, I didn't think there would be much difference but once you get used to the additional space you wont want to go back to a smaller netbook.
Having said that, there are a few things which let this netbook down and it is mainly down to it's weedy processor. I do not know why they provide you with a HD screen then no real capability of watching such video smoothly. The processor is worse than on my Samsung NC10 and it is something that you notice. If it wasn't I wouldn't have minded but it is. Furthermore, making a nice looking sleek netbook with a brilliant screen then underequipping it with a weak processor is good.
This had potential to be a great step up from a 10inch netbook but the seriously underpowered processor makes it you consider its worth. If all you do is browse the web and watch SD videos then this is fine but should you want to run multiple applications and do anything more intensive then you need to definitely upgrade the ram to 2gb and then still it lacks the oomph that you'd expect if you've made the move up from a 10 inch.
