Advantages: Easy to use Just plug and play

Disadvantages: Short battery life

I LOVE my acer aspire one. It is sooo easy to use, and reliable. I was a little concerned about using Linux rather than Windows, but there isn't much difference. Linux uses far less memory and is intuitive to use.
Memory can be upgraded easily with a micro SD card - I got an 8 Gb from Amazon for about £5 and just put in the slot on the side and Hey Presto 10Gb of memory!
I found the track pad a bit small so bought a Logitech wireless mouse (ARGOS) to use which made a big difference to how I can play games etc.
Internet connectivity is fast using a router. Start up to connection takes less than a minute, main home pc (windows xp)takes at least 5 minutes to boot up including anti virus etc, no such problems with acer. It doesn't need antivirus software or firewalls etc.
I don't use it for documents very often but it can save open office docs as windows if needed.
It is best used sat on the sofa browsing the internet and listening to music on the Media Player!!
One small complaint would be battery life isn't very long - about 3 hours but then I don't use it very often without being 'plugged in'.

Summary: Brilliant!
