Advantages: Lightweight, easy to manage, nice design, cheap price
Disadvantages: No CD-input, difficult to use the mousepad
I just bought this computer brand (in pink!) some weeks ago, and I must say I'm very happy with it.
The keyboard and mousepad is a little difficult to handle, so I use an plug-in keyboard instead.
At first I was a bit unfamiliar with the small screen and I thought for myself; "How will I ever learn to use this?", but after just few hours with my new Acer Aspire One, I had gotten used to it and it's so comfortable I never wanna go back to using those big monster machine-like laptops again, haha.
There's no installation CD since the computer lacks a CD-input, but all installation software is available to install from the desktop, it will show a small icon on the desktop and it will do all the work by itself once you click it.
It is a perfect computer for the one who writes alot, or for you who's just tired of bringing paper and pen to work. This laptop is lightweight and easy to carry, it easily fits in a handbag so it's easy to carry with you all of the time.
If you're the type of person that plays alot of games and downloading alot, this is not the computer for you since it doesn't have such huge ammount of space, it's only 8GB. But for you who want to use it as a notepad or just writing and surfing with, it's a perfect choice. The battery life lasts for 3 hours so it's pretty descent.
Summary: A good computer which I recommend , though not for game-players or people who download alot

- 11/04/09 The review would be better if you added in specs and how it performs. |
