Advantages: Inbuilt webcam, light and portable can fit into a medium school bag

Disadvantages: no cd, needs a patch for usb broadband mobile.

This was a present for my daughter shes 12, a good ram for internet use, the only draw back is we have 3 usb mobile and we had to download a patch for it to work on linux, I had to go to a local macdonalds for free wiifii to download a mobile patch, after that it connected fine. Its a handy size notebook with a lovely pouch and very compact, the keyboard is quite tightly spaced, and my daughter couldnt find it user friendly. I found it quite difficult to switch from internet to desktop mode.
The webcam takes good pictures which is useful to be inbuilt. We chose the metallic blue its shiny and wipes down easy. It comes with office.org free and the operating system is linux although we werent familiar with it my daughter had not problem with using it. There is a useful media slot to insert a cameria media card. There is no cd or dvd facility which my daughter did not favour. This cost £233 in tesco 1/12/08

Summary: Lightweight, easy to use, great for young teenager.
