Advantages: little enough to perch on your knee, but big enough screen and keyboard to make it easy to use

Disadvantages: none

I would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody that wants a good little reliable net book.

We bought it because we only had an old desk top and found that as a family we were not spending a lot of time together because somebody was always upstairs on the computer.

From taking it out of the box, we were up and running within 5 minutes, and we are not technical people at all!

The net book is fantastic, because it is little enough to perch on your knee in the front room, and still be sociable.

Linux is fab, practically the same as Microsoft Office, if that is what you are used to, and you can convert your old word and excel files if you want to carry them across to the Acer.

Battery life is good, it lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Much better than a large cumbersome lap top in my opinion. Good for photo's, letters, spreadsheets etc, and plenty of room for storing photo's and files.

I love it!

Summary: Fab!
