This was a present from my parents last christmas. At first i didn't use it much, but the more i did, the more i got hooked! Its very small and lightweight, which makes it very easy to carry around (Unlike my previous laptop!) And the colour choices it comes in are gorgeous! Mine is a really deep red, with tiny flecks of shimmer on it! Another issue for me at first with it was that it had no CD Drive. But i soon realised these are realitively cheap to buy (or even borrow from a friend) And once your games, CDs etc are loaded on there you really don't need one! The only downside i encounter with it now is the fact it is so hard to keep clean! I think this is due to its surface being so high shine, it gets smudges, fingerprints etc on it very easily! Another point worth mentioning is its long battery life, It lasts far longer than my old laptop, which is brill if you don't have access to a powerpoint! Overall i think that this netbook is brill and strongly reccommend it!
Well i got this wee mini laptop October 2009 and have ended up getting rid of my larger laptop as this one is just the right size to fit in my handbag and take to starbucks or anywhere i need to go. I think its a great laptop plenty of RAM and Memory to use,i have never had any problems downloading it does this sufficiently. Screen and keyboard are easy to wipe down and keep clean. Battery life is better than most larger laptops and this product is much lighter, i previously had a a DELL before this which used to crash constantly and chargers would break costing me £60+ everytime. But i am pleased to say since i bought this Acer Aspire One last October that it hasnt crashed once. The only issues i do have with this laptop and they are very minor is that perhaps the speakers volume is a bit low as they are underneath the laptop which when on your laptop often becomes muffled and the same is true when it comes to the fans, they are also underneath the laptop making it prone to overheating.
Been using this netbook for about a month now and have fallen in love with it's light weight and looks. It is quick to start up which is a great start! The case is glossy black so is prone to fingerprints (no big deal though). The screen is very nice indeed, bright colours and despite the 10.1 inch size its very easy to navigate and read text. This one of the best netbooks out as it has a crisp and clear screen and has a great design! Movies do play very well and a 160gb hard drive will allow you to store at least 80 movies. It's also very light so is great to take anywhere and with the 6 cell battery it will last 5 hours +. The OS is Windows XP Home which is very easy to configure to your specifications. Comes with 1GB of ram (easily upgradable to 2 GB Max). An excellent purchase for anyone wanting a small, light take anywhere netbook. Recommended.
I needed a cheap laptop for just web browsing and doing college work on. I was told that a netbook would be perfect for that and i ended up purchasing an Acer Aspire One! I must say it is a great little machine and does everything i need. I upgraded the operating system to windows 7 and it is running perfect. I would recommend going for the version with 1GB of ram as 512mb will struggle under load. I must admit theony dissapointing factor is the battery life. I was told that it should last upto four hours but i am lucky if it lasts 2 hours although there is larger capacity batteries availiable. The quality of the laptop is excellent and it feels like it will last unlike previous ones i looked at that looked rather cheap to be honest. The keys are the same size as normal laptop ones so no problems with pressing other keys by mistake. I would Definately recommend this netbook it is the perfect accessory for any student or just for someone who just wants a tool to search the internet.
well my mum got this note book a few months ago and has never used it!! this is because i have stolen it because it is fantastic!! it only cost about £350 which I think is really cheap for what it is. the colour is lovely bright red which sort of sparkles in the sunlight. firstly the battery life is great when fully charged it can last about 4 hours and it doesn't slow down when it off the charger like most laptops. I can open up many internet pages itunes, spotify word documents and it still doesn't run slow or crashes. which I was told that the only problem with notebooks was that you can only do one thing at a time which is not true with this little beast!! it has a great webcam, is light, really bright screen full keypad, slim. its so prefect that I am going to take it travelling with me so I can talk to my parents over the webcam and carry it around without lugging a huge thing around.
The Aspire one D250 is the ultimate take-me-with-you device!
The LED-backlit display presents you with bright, clear imagery for a very enjoyable viewing experience, while a small-yet-powerful processor and large hard disk drive deliver the pleasure of full-size-notebook performance - without the bulk and weight. While you're out and about, this netbook makes it a breeze to stay in touch with your friends. What's more, long battery life gives you plenty of juice for extended fun wherever you go.
