Advantages: Good battery life, neat and tidy and excellent value for money

Disadvantages: I feel harsh listing the mild disadvantages that I have, because value for money outweighs them!

My first 'notebook' laptop and definitely good value for money.

Naturally enough the keyboard took a bit of getting used to - and I only have small hands - but by definition that will always be the case for a first notebook.

It has no trouble connecting and staying connected with its built-in wifi - even at work where I am a few rooms away from the router.

As a lower-priced notebook, the capacity, memory etc is all more than adequate for a user like me (somewhere in between occasional and continuous!) the screen quality is excellent, sound great, it's naturally lightweight and looks really sleek. Battery life is excellent - It comfortably runs a couple of hours at a time. More usually, I use it for short periods (10 mins or so) 2 or 3 times a day and it would last me up to a week.

Touch pad and 'click bar' is responsive although there is a tendency to catch it with the thumb occasionally when using the keyboard.

Another advantage is the power socket is the same size as my other ACER laptops, so I only need one cable around at a time.

I'm not a techno-whizz by any means but I did find some response times ever-so-slightly delayed.

Summary: Absolutely perfect for my needs as an 'extra' computer in between home and office
