a cheap laptop for just web browsing and doing college work on. I was told that a netbook would be perfect for that and i ended up purchasing an Acer Aspire One! I must say it is a great little machine and does everything i need. I upgraded the operating system to windows 7 and it is running perfect. I would recommend going for the version with 1GB of ram as 512mb will struggle under load. I must admit theony dissapointing factor is the battery life. I was told that it should last upto four hours but i am lucky if it lasts 2 hours although there is larger capacity batteries availiable.
