ASUS Eee PC 900A Intel Atom N270, 1.6gHz, 8GB SDD (hard drive), 3 USB ports, 3 hours battery life, 8.9" widescreen - Windows XP Home Edition, StarOffice, iTunes, Microsoft Works, Internet Explorer. I must admit I was worried about buying a netbook but its size and colour (i have a beautiful pearl and purple one) convinced me. SInce i bought it my life has changed. I can easily connect to wireless networks and found that the snmall keyboard gets natural after a while. It has good sound and camera but I have come across a couple of problems. as its not like your usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot worse however at the end of testing it iv got to say I really like the Asus Eee PC and however rubbish it might be I think I will end up buying one if some of the features just improve a little or if the higher spec editions become cheaper. I m reviewing the new better version of the EEE pc this time as I reviewed the cheapest one last time and although it was quite good I though the amount of memory it had slowed it down and that there also wasn t enough storage space of it. Your opinion of the Asus Eee will vary greatly on what you expect from it. If you know that what you are getting isn t exactly a full spec laptop and you want something cute, small and portable, then this is for you. It is far from being an adequate replacement for a conventional laptop and the screen size will let it down. The features supplied aren t bad, for example you will have skype already installed which is good and there is a webcam so that you can immediately communicate with your friends.
