Advantages: Small, internet and web cam, office tools
Disadvantages: No CD player, small keys
I was having problems with my main PC and could not afford to buy a larger laptop or a new PC so I decided to but this little netbook to keep me going until I could get my main PC fixed.
The laptop is very handy as a reserve for a main PC. I can't tell you if it is ok for alot of wear and tear as I don't use it everyday.
It is very handy for using on buses or trains and I always take it with me on holiday so that at the end of each day I can download my photos onto it and empty my camera. It is also good to use when you are in bed.
It is useful to connect to the internet and has wireless capabilities so can be used in pubs and places with free wireless. It also has a built in webcam which is good if you want to use problems like skype.
It can be used to watch films on as sort of a mini DVD player(which can cost about £150 on there own) but to do this you will need to buy an external DVD player or transfer films onto a large enough memory stick.
It doesn't use windows which is quite weird for someone who is only used to seeing that operating system but everything is set out easily with tab bars at the top to split things down into sections so that you can find whatever you need.
It has alot of similar programs that windows offers such as paint and basic games. It also has simple versions of the programs on microsoft office which when used and saved onto memory stick will open on different programs without problems.
The battery life is quite good once it is fully charged.
The only problem I have with it is the size of the keys, sometimes when typing I accidently press the wrong keys but this is to be expected with such a compact machine.
After using this PC I don't think I would ever buy a normal laptop again.
Summary: This laptop is excellent as a second computer or for kids to have as their own.
