I bought my Asus Eee PC a few months ago now. I bought the version that runs Linux, rather than XP. Mainly because it was cheaper, and the Hard Disk Drive was larger. For the first few weeks, I enjoyed the novelty of working on a small netbook, and I thought it looked very nice. I also enjoyed being able to carry it around with ease, and the fact that it had rather good battery usage. After a couple of weeks however, I started to notice the fact that, the Eee PC was freezing up rather often. Also, Firefox would often just crash, for no apparent reason. This review is of the new Asus EEE pc. Its been quite fun using and reviewing this one as its not like your usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot worse however at the end of testing it iv got to say I really like the asus EEE pc and however rubbish it might be I think I will end up buying one if some of the features just improve a little or if the higher spec editions become cheaper. I m reviewing the new better version of the EEE pc this time as I reviewed the cheapest one last time and although it was quite good I though the amount of memory it had slowed it down and that there also wasn t enough storage space of it.
