This netbook was bought primarily for my mum to store her music and to use for some light internet browsing. Initially it performed well, but the problems started with greater use. The small size and portability meant that the whole family started using it around the house and as such the hard drive was nearing 75% capacity. At this point, turning it on alone takes upwards of 5 minutes, then opening a browser takes another 5. It seems unable to handle the hardware it comes packaged with as when I cleared out a lot of the junk and brought the hard drive capacity to <50% it started working better, although not at the out-of-the-box speed. This seems at first impressions to be amazing value for money but it is slightly deceiving. It is a great buy, but do not buy it with the intention of using all the storage and possibly factor in the cost of an external hard drive.
