Traveling around the world I needed a small footprint laptop. The NB100 came to mind because of its price and size. I checked a lot of other machines but liked the keyboard and the touch pad which wasn t bad. The in built web cam works well with skype messenger etc. I paid a little extra money (25 pounds) to double the available memory which made a huge difference and really i worth it. I have also used the unit with an external keyboard and monitor which turns the unit literally into a portable office. Negative aspects- the keyboard is little difficult to read in low light conditions. The battery seems to be inconstant lasting sometimes for an hour sometimes for 3 hours ...

The T Toshiba NB100 has behaved well in our tests and shows that this category of products may well meet the needs of connectivity when it requires a smaller footprint to a minimum. From an aesthetic point of view is not appealing sports solutions, while keyboard and autonomy are improved, but overall it is a good product that will give satisfaction. I bought this T Toshiba NB100 in December 2009 and it has served me extremely well. When I decided I was going to purchase a Netbook I took a look at the other machines on the market at that time and I felt that this was the most robust of the lot. The machine has run very well with an Windows XP 32bit Operating System and 1GB of ram, the laptop was mainly bought to browse the web but I soon purchased the Serif Webplus x4 application to install on it. The system is running fine and I have had no problems and even with the Serif applications it handles them all very well.
