I bought the Zoostorm after getting two hundred pounds for my birthday, the main reason for this was the low price. At the time I brought it it was £200, this amazed me for a machine with 1 gigabyte of ram and a 250 gigabyte hard disk. I thought something must be wrong, there has to be a catch.
However when I got it I was pleasantly surprised, the packaging was sleek and protected the product very well and it arrived in perfect condition. After getting it out I turned the netbook on, it already had Windows 7 installed and so getting started was easy. Also contained in the package was the manual, a usb cord and the charger.
Moving forward I was pleased by the performance offered, however the graphics card struggled to cope with HD video, however in a machine of its size and cost there was little to be expected. The processor was also 32mb processor and this meant that I was unable to run adobe after effects and adobe premiere. Although again this was to be expected
Having complained about the graphics the performance was good enough for word processing and surfing the internet, as well as doing basic design work
The battery however has rather been its downfall, it was advertised with a three hour battery life however straight on its first charge it lasted on 2 hours on the lowest brightness, and now a year later it has degraded to under half an hour even on lowest brightness
In conclusion a great product for the price however let down by the battery
