Use the ExtendAIR Omni in areas where you require improved overall AirPort reception from a wide range of locations. ExtendAIR requires no configuration other than restarting the AirPort Extreme Base Station. After restart, the Base Station automatically detects the new antenna and switches existing clients to take advantage of the ExtendAIR. All the features of the built-in antenna are available through ExtendAIR.

The ExtendAIR Omni can enhance the usable range of your wireless network by optimizing the coverage pattern over that offered by the AirPort's internal antenna. This means no "dead spots" in rooms or areas where you would expect ample AirPort coverage. ExtendAIR Omni includes a base that is configurable for either desktop or wall-mount configurations while keeping the antenna in the optimal vertical orientation.
