Advantages: useful to keep wires together

Disadvantages: none so far

On the P.C I have there are lots of wires, cables and assessories with wires and to be honest it's bit like spaghetti junction at the back of my computer.
I have a keyboard, speakers, monitor and mouse all wired to the back of various USB ports or connections at the back of the computer as well as a camera lead, a scanner and printer and a lead for my mobile phone, so I can upload pictures and download music onto the phone to use as ringtones.
So, when I came across these Hama Cable Clamps I was really glad to buy them just to be able to get a little organised with the leads and wires coming from the computer.

I had read reviews before on how good the wire clamps are and searched online to buy them and found that they cost £8.45 from Amazon for a pack of 14 which is good value as they are multi-coloured and come in a packet with light blue, red, yellow and green which is good as you can put the different colours onto the different clumps of wires so that you know which bunch of wires is connected to the computer.
I have the red one's joining all the wires that come fromt he back of the computer and the light blue clamps joining the wires that arec onnected via USB so that I know which is which.

The clamps are really well made chunks of nylon material and the design is really good, if you put your thumbs together and your forefingers together in a C on your left hand and a backward C on your right hand them clasp them you will get an idea of how well the clamps fit and hold the wires together. It's like they hug them to keep them secure. They hug at the top and have a circle of a certain size at the bottom where the wires go.

You get two clamps of each colour and the sizes vary so that you can use them with bigger clumps of wires the sizes are from (16/18/20/24/26/28/30mm) these will fit almost any group or bunch of wires and they adjust so that they fit nicely over the clump of wires your holding together.
I think this is a good idea as it's a pain when you get things tangled all the time as I am always getting the keyboard wire tangled in with the scanner wire especially if I want to put the keyboard on my knee to type and then just put it back after, with this I can clump the scanner wires and the monitor wires together with the speaker wires as these are the parts of my computer that I don't really move around, then the keyboard wire is free and doesn't get tangled.

You also can clip these on and off so you don't have to worry that once you have used them that is it they are permanant as they aren't they can be clipped on and off the wires so you can organise where you want them.
These are also good for stack systems and television wires and DVDs and consoles as they are a nylon material and so can be used with electrical items.
Value wise these are great sturdy, useful and easy to clip on and off as well as you being able to organise the wires.
I'm happy to recommend them to you.
