Accton EN 1208T ... PCI Ethernet adapter series (EN1208) are high performance 10Mbps adapters based on this advanced platform. Designed to complement PCI Local Bus computers, the PCI adapters supports 32-bit data transfer. Advanced VLSI and SMT manufacturing ensure high-performance and reliability on a low component-count card. Also, you can operate the PCI Ethernet adapters in full-duplex mode. This doubles channel bandwidth from 10 to 20Mbps for 10BASE-T.

These adapters conform to IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 10BASE2, AUI (10BASE5) and PCI Local Bus Specification, Rev. 2.0 or later. A wide range of drivers are also supplied for commonly used network operating systems. An onboard socket for a generic Boot ROM is provided to connect to popular network environments such as Novell NetWare, Windows 95 and Windows NT. Multiple Media Types Supported This PCI Ethernet adapter series supports several types of cabling, including twisted-pair via an RJ-45 port, thin Ethernet via a BNC connector, and thick Ethernet or fiber optics via an AUI port with an appropriate transceiver. The media type in use is automatically detected via the built-in Ethernet Controller chip or software driver. LED indicators are also provided for easy monitoring of network activity and link signals.
