Based on Adaptec's DuraLAN technology, the unique NIC controller on the Quartet64 provides increased bandwidth for even the most demanding networks. With full-duplex support, the Quartet64 achieves a maximum throughput of 800 Mbps. This NIC can be used in conjunction with other Adaptec NICs to increase flexibility, performance, and cabling compatibility, and it provides an easy migration path from Ethernet to Fast Ethernet.
