For even greater flexibility, both CUT (single session) and DFT (multi-session) emulation modes are supported and it works with Attachmate, IBM, and other host access software. Software-loaded micro-code lets you upgrade IRMA 3 by simply installing the new features directly from a disk, freeing you from reinstalling hardware. An onboard microprocessor lets your PC function as an online 3278/79 terminal and as a PC at the same time, letting you take advantage of both systems' features. IRMA 3 provides easy-to-use configuration software and is preconfigured for ISA or Micro Channel and can easily be converted between the two.
