The DGE-500T is IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3z compliant. It is designed with the newest networking technologies such as VLAN, VLAN tag insertion support, Auto MDI-II / MDI-X crossover capabilities, and multicasting support to utilize network bandwidth more efficiently. The DGE-500T is 2.1 and 2.2 PCI compliant. The DGE-500T supports full duplex operation for 20/200/2000 Mbps data rates and flow control. The DGE-500T RJ-45 Ethernet port is designed to automatically detect a straight- through or a crossover Cat5 cable. The DGE-500T comes with a built-in 8 KB Transmit and 32 KB Receive data FIFOs. The DGE-500T also supports Plug and Play installation.
