Channel host adapters are designed in a Low Profile PCI form factor making them the right choice for 1U and 2U rackmount and standard servers, while providing the performance needed for enterprise applications. These adapters save valuable PCI slots and offer increased connectivity by providing two independent fiber channels on one host adapter for clustered or SAN environments.

The LSI44929 MiniHAB adapters host the LSIFC929, PCI-to-Dual Channel Fiber Channel controller. The LSIFC929 connects directly to a 64-bit/66 MHz PCI bus presenting one electrical load. The host PCI interface is PCI 2.2 compliant and is backwards compatible with 32-bit and 33 MHz buses.
