Once I had rebooted, despite all my efforts, uninstalling, (even the uninstall program crashed - causing a reboot) and re-installing, my computer never "saw" the drives again. This product is rubbish. Check out the number of software and firmware updates that have been provided by Netgear to try and resolve the numerous issues that surround this product. I now use it as a large paperweight for which it is better suited.
