Plasmon's SNAZ product family of proven NAS filers incorporates optimized hardware running SNAZ OS v4, a dedicated, resilient NAS operating system.

SNAZ filers are easy to integrate. The hardware is pre-configured and delivered ready for use. The start-up Server Configuration Wizard is accessed through a standard web browser and guides the user through the initial basic setup including the first Volume. SNAZ Manager provides intuitive configuration to create storage volumes and corresponding shares with convenient integration into an Active Directory domain or using the SNAZ Local Access Control (ACLs). A key feature is the ability to expand storage volumes without interrupting user access and so avoiding "out of disk space" disruption. Storage space consumed by users can be limited by setting Quotas. Alongside the intuitive capabilities, there is extensive assistance in the form of on-line help screens and context related tool tips.
