This card is extremely good for a connection just for two computers. Whether you just want to link the computer’s for fun or if you want to link them so you can play games and/or access other files on the other computer in the room next door. This card is brilliant it’s so easy to install and setup it take minutes if you have some good knowledge of computer hardware and software. I haven’t experienced any problems with this card over the15 months I’ve had it. Quite frankly, having spent the last year installing various NICs in various types of PCs, I would heartily recommend one of these cards to anyone who needs a solid useful NIC. They install pretty well, although a few come slightly misformed and a simple bending of the faceplate will solve any PCI slot problems. The drivers are fantastic, and work every time so long as the hardware is functioning fine. many other vendors have poor support, whereas the 3com site is excellent for driver and customer support.
