3Com EtherLink 10/100 PCI Network Interface Card ... card is extremely good for a connection just for two computers. Whether you just want to link the computer’s for fun or if you want to link them so you can play games and/or access other files on the other computer in the room next door. This card is brilliant it’s so easy to install and setup it take minutes if you have some good knowledge of computer hardware and software. I haven’t experienced any problems with this card over the15 months I’ve had it. 3Com EtherLink 10/100 PCI Network Interface Card ... frankly, having spent the last year installing various NICs in various types of PCs, I would heartily recommend one of these cards to anyone who needs a solid useful NIC. They install pretty well, although a few come slightly misformed and a simple bending of the faceplate will solve any PCI slot problems. The drivers are fantastic, and work every time so long as the hardware is functioning fine. many other vendors have poor support, whereas the 3com site is excellent for driver and customer support. The auto sensing seems to work seamlessly, and I have absolutely no complaints about these cards - perhaps slightly expensive, but as always one gets what on... 3Com EtherLink 10/100 Combo Network Interface Card ... card, as with most 3-Com cards, is very much worth purchasing. The auto-detect feature is faultless and as far as compatibility goes there's more than ample support on the driver disks to get you going be it DOS, windows or Linux. The cost of these cards would be a concern of mine if purchasing for a company as it'll soon add-up to quite a bit of cash. If you don't have cashflow issues or are only buying a few then by all means in vest in an excellent card. Once thing I think worth mentioning about these cards is their driver support.
