This unit distributes the broadband access and services throughout the home, allowing multiple devices and users to communicate simultaneously. The AT-RG213 supports Voice over IP as well as broadcast TV, streaming video and 3-D gaming, it combines the delivery of multiple broadband services in a single, cost-effective unit.

The AT-RG213 is designed for volume deployment by Broadband Service Providers who are looking to deliver multiple IP services to the home. Offering a variety of WAN interfaces including 100FX Fiber, and 10/100TXCopper, the unit is fully adaptable to meet Broadband provider's connectivity needs, including Ethernet to the home (ETTH) or Fiber to the home (FTTH) applications. The AT-RG213 can be used in any xDSL, Cable TV or wireless network that presents Ethernet termination (copper or fiber). It is ideal Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) for Multiple-Dwelling Unit (MDU) and Multiple-Tenant Unit (MTU) applications as well as campus environments.

"Zero touch" configuration means that the customer can simply plug the AT-RG213 into the network, after which all unit-specific information is automatically loaded from a centrally-located service provider database. With an ergonomically designed enclosure, the AT-RG213 offers a choice of tabletop placements as well as wall mounting options. Support for IGMP snooping means that multiple IP-streaming channels are supported simultaneously e.g. multiple TV and video streams.
