Allied Telesyn VoIPtalk AT-VP604E FXS ... installation, it protects customer investment in existing analog devices and connects up to four phones and/or faxes to a corporate or Carrier-based VoIP network, through a single 10/100BaseT Ethernet port. It can be used to provide connectivity to broadband access equipment for a Service Provider or Carrier's IP Telephony offering to the residential, enterprise or SOHO markets.

To ensure maximum flexibility, the AT-VP604 FXS can be configured to support the SIP, H.323 or MGCP/NCS IP Telephony signaling protocol, can dynamically detect the most commonly used IP Telephony codecs and fax protocols, including T.38; and can be auto-provisioned, remotely managed and upgraded through Mediatrix's own innovative and user-friendly tool, the Unit Manager Network. An automatic bypass function provides a connection directly to the PSTN in the event of an IP network failure or power outage. In addition, the AT-VP604 FXS can be used as a gateway from Key System onto VoIP network.

For corporate, residential and SOHO end-users the AT-VP604 FSX provides a simple and cost-effective way to migrate to an IP-based telephony infrastructure without the need to discard existing analog devices.
