Based on Axis' ThinServer Technology, the AXIS StorPoint CD includes everything needed to connect CD/DVD-ROM drives to the network. It is file server independent, which means it doesn't tie up file server computing and IO resources. It requires no client or server software to install. Users simply plug in their Ethernet or Token Ring connector and use the Web-based installation wizard for quick installation.
